Social Skills Development Groups

Children with ADHD, LD and Asperger's often lag behind their peers when it comes to social skills that are essential to success in school and in life.

Using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), the groups aim to create an environment that allows for social skills development. Young children learn skills such as turn taking, sharing, and initiating and sustaining conversation. Older children work on letting go of control, picking up on social cues, collaborating, negotiating, and showing empathy.
